Amedisys Headquarters - American Way

Arkel Constructors was contracted for the design-build project to relocate and renovate an existing space for the Amedisys Corporate Headquarters. The interior Amedisys project consisted of demolishing the interior of an 80,000-square-foot portion of an existing space with two adjacent tenants. The new construction included building new executive offices, a training room, three coffee bars, a breakroom, open office areas, conference rooms, collaborative rooms, an exercise room, new restrooms, renovating the existing restrooms,  storage rooms, and four large open office areas. The interior finishes of the space include a level five finish paint

throughout,  wall coverings, wall graphics, decorative acoustical ceilings, decorative carpet tile, porcelain wall and floor tile, suspended sound absorbing panels,  interior storefront, fire-rated glass, new plumbing fixtures, and custom light fixtures. The exterior consisted of the addition of a new entry canopy with structural steel columns, a new roof, stucco veneer, and decorative tube steel painted with a high-performance coating.
