Southern University A.W. Mumford Stadium

Arkel Constructors was selected as the general contractor for the additions, renovations, structural repairs, and waterproofing of the existing football stadium at Southern University. The project involved structural repairs of the existing stadium, new lighting standards, and a new state-of-the-art press box with luxury box suites. With a unique scope of work and an intense project schedule, our staff spent countless hours developing and executing our plan. The new skyboxes and press area were the first of their kind for any team in its conference and stand as a landmark facility on campus for the Southern Jaguars.
