project info

The BASF Control Building was designed to serve as a multi-use building for both the administrative management and the utility department personnel at the BASF plant in Geismar, Louisiana. The building is a 10,700-square-foot single-story structural steel building with a blast-resistant rating to meet the site's requirements. The exterior is insulated metal panels with a poured roof deck.  The building also contains a quality control laboratory, change house, administrative offices and conference rooms with high end finishes throughout. By using sustainable building materials in combination with environmentally conscience construction practices, this project is considered a Green  Building and is pursuing LEED Silver Accreditation.
