Woman’s Hospital – New Campus

Arkel Constructors was awarded the Joint Venture project to construct the new campus for Woman’s Hospital. The 839,000-square-foot hospital sits on 85 acres and is designed with four towers, a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with its own separate operating room, an adult intensive care unit, and an oncology wing. In addition to the hospital, there is a 280,000-square-foot, four-story medical office building and a 69,000-square-foot support services building. Power is generated from an adjacent, 23,000-square-foot energy plant building, which also houses three diesel-powered emergency generators. The exterior of the hospital is complimented with a 1.25-mile walking track and natural landscapes that add to the beauty of the campus. Arkel Constructors has been the contractor of choice for Woman’s Hospital since 2004 and is continually completing projects for the hospital.
