Arkel Constructors was awarded the contract to build a new Medical Office Building and to renovate and expand the main hospital for the installation of a Heart Catheter Machine and Laboratory. The new 73,000-square-foot, three three-story medical office building, was built adjacent to the main hospital in just over two years. In addition, 20,000 square feet of renovations and additions were performed on the existing facility that included a Heart Catheter Lab, which houses a state-of-the-art heart Catheter machine that was the first of its kind in the area. The work was completed in 12 months and sparked a series of additional projects with the Client that included tenant build-outs, emergency repairs, generator installation and Oncology suites; all of which were critical to the Client’s needs.
